Jeff Bell's collection of five glass 'pebble seats' create an irresistible series of resting places in Princesshay's Bedford Square. Inspired by the texture of Exeter's weather beaten historic city walls, these tactile ribbed glass structures, made up of planes of stacked glass, are positioned around the square. Their placement has been carefully guided to 'reveal' the new sight lines through this new public meeting place and, in particular, to direct the view toward the spectacular vista of Exeter's cathedral.

The glass seats are lit using the linear CLS system, which was programmed for a series of colour change sequences by Crescent.
