Butterfly House

Godalming, Surrey

"The Butterfly House is a mutation of a 1930s timber-framed design once shown at the Ideal Home Exhibition. With its bright winged canopies, serpentine pathways and garden that twists through its science-fiction interiors, it must surely be one of the most surreal homes ever to have been built" (The Guardian, November 2013).

This astonishing creation, home to Architect Larrie Chetwood, uses the BPAK side emitting fibre to lend a dramatic touch to the night time view of his amazing 'Butterfly' glass extension and canopy.
